Waiting for the terrain.

No network or CPU throttling. Cold-URL runs bypass browser resource reuse using unique URLs; OS/GPU caches may remain warm. First-frame timing is a presentation opportunity proxy, not a GPU fence. A physical iPhone Safari test is still required.

BEHIND THE VIEW

The ground is real.
The finish is a visualization.

One real hole, existing project evidence

Nevel Meade, Prospect, Kentucky — mapped Hole 1, par 4. Route: OSM way 997313823. Mapped green: way 989182399; route-start tee pad: way 989182395. Those are map associations, not verified tee colors or a current pin.

Terrain and derivation

Existing project snapshot identifies USGS 3DEP 1 m bare-earth DEM, acquired 12 December 2022–5 March 2023; EPSG:26916, NAVD88 metres. The inherited display grid is about 3 m. This prototype selects the existing samples inside Hole 1 bounds plus a 25 m margin, aligned to the source grid. No new survey or accuracy validation was performed.

The texture is a crop of the project's OSM-derived surface visualization, dated 13 October 2026. Adjacent mapped shapes may appear inside the crop; no ownership is inferred. Grass, stripes and lighting are illustrative. Do not read putting breaks, current hazards, trees or a live waterline from this view.

True 1× vertical scale is the default. The optional 2.5× mode deliberately exaggerates relief. Route length follows the mapped line, not an official tee-card yardage or a recommended shot.

See SOURCES.json and the reproducible build script for byte hashes and extraction details. Publication labels and dates are inherited from local evidence; this pass did not refetch the original DEM or validate changes since the snapshot. Three.js MIT license retained. No microphone, GPS, production backend or deployment is connected.
